We’re cooking up a rocking mix of classic and modern musical values on Saturday 22 June at The Meeting Room Elland – the Danny Giles Band will be live on stage bringing us great songs, a great sound and stunning musicianship, all from talented performers who learned their craft on international stages.

The dynamic trio of Danny Giles (guitar and vocals), Pat Garvey (drums) and Jon Chase (bass) specialises in full-blooded rock with a twist of blues, gospel and soul, neither a traditional blues band nor a classic rock band. They’ve spent years touring, playing to festival audiences and playing packed out club dates all over Europe.

This music is layered – soulful combined with rocky and bluesy notes – guitar that stings, bass that hits the groove and drumming that gives the music focus. The blues vibe really suits Danny’s vocals – this power trio gives the blues genre a new touch, packed with modern energy.
