The Russ Tippins Electric Band plays Yorkshire again on 21st May 2016 with a gig at The Meeting Room in Elland  – a great opportunity to see the band that’s rocked blues festivals across the UK  playing at this intimate venue now attracting some serious talent.

The band’s first album ‘Electrickery’ made Classic Rock magazine’s ‘Album of the Month’ on its release, and has since earned them plaudits from blues writers and broadcasters on both sides of the Atlantic.

A mini-tour of the US midwest in 2011 after the CD got significant airplay on a number of Blues radio shows in Indiana, Missouri and Nebraska resulted in rave reviews and Russ received a 1st-round nomination for a 2012 BMA in Memphis.

The band has appeared at major British Blues festivals, Maryport, Hebden Blues and Colne R&B, with live shows in continental Europe. The song ‘Little Josephine’ made CLASSIC ROCK writers’ top ten list and was featured on the Magazine’s cover-CD alongside artists such as Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
